The GOKKO Angels Chorus has two separate controls are provided for independent variation of Rate and Depth to expand the creation possibilities. This advanced pedal also has a fine S/N 90db or more (IHFA) for lower noise operation. A LED lights to tell you at a glance when effect is on.
Overall this isn’t the most known chorus pedal on the market but it’s well worth considering if you’re looking for a budget or entry model. After testing this pedal against several other similar budget models the Angel was a very strong contender and came out top on some occasions. After adjusting the control knobs the sound was even better so we really are impressed with how much you can manipulate and adapt the sound using the controls.
The Angel chorus pedal can run off of a 9-volt battery or a mains supply, however it’s worth noting that the battery has an external connector socket. This means the battery is on show and isn’t housed in the pedal. This can be difficult to manage on a pedalboard, it can look strange and get in the way. However when it comes to changing the battery it does make it substantially easier. Overall this isn’t a deal breaker, especially if you’re using the mains power supply option.
Definitely worth giving a shot if you want a low cost, great sound chorus pedal. Check it out!
